Thursday 28th February: The Prayer Group will meet at 2 p.m. at 4 Greenacre Walk, N14.

Friday 1st March: Coffee Morning and Craft Club.  Please join us from 10.15 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Church for coffee, tea and biscuits.

Friday 1st March:  Cheese and Snacks evening in the Bar which will be open from 6 p.m.

Saturday 2nd March: Vicar’s Legendary Pre-Lent Quiz.  Sold out!  But not too late for contributions to the terrible raffle.  All proceeds to the Bishop’s Lent Appeal.

Tuesday 5th March: Showing of Lent Course Film – “The Greatest Showman” at 8 p.m.  Join us to start the Lent Course with appropriate refreshments and a good sing-a-long – or just come and see a really good film – All welcome.  If you would like a book for the course, please sign up on the sheet at the back of church.  The 7.30 service will be the monthly Anointing and Laying on of Hands rather than a Eucharist service.

Wednesday 6th March:  Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes at 8 p.m.

Sunday 10th March: Top Step Talk by the Hatters Explorer Scout Unit to provide an update on their trip to Peru in 2018.

Saturday 23rd March: Private Tour of Freemason’s Hall.  A limited number of vacancies exist for a private tour, which follows the “Open House” principle, including not only the museum and library but also the rooms (or temples) in which Masonic meetings take place.  This tour, which is intended to be for members of Christ Church, Southgate only, is free (save only for travelling costs) and highly recommended.  It is proposed to meet at Southgate Underground Station at 9 a.m. to Holborn from where it is a short walk to Great Queen Street where Freemasons Hall is situated.  Please notify Bob Hagon-Torkington (lord.robert.rht@gmail.com) if you would like to take part.

Sunday 7th April at 6.30 p.m.: Stainer’s Crucifixion. The Choir shall be singing a liturgical performance of Sir John Stainer’s Passiontide cantata The Crucifixion. Soloists – Vasanthan Vidthyan (tenor) and Adrian Hill (bass). Please note this is a service and not a concert, so there is no admission charge. Please do please bring friends to the performance and spread the word.
