Christ Church runs a traditional Sunday School for children from 3 years up to School Year 6. Led by the Youth and Children’s Worker, four trained volunteer leaders, and parent helpers, we offer learning in a practical way.
We have a programme which includes themes from the Old and New Testament, introducing each child to the teachings of Jesus and providing activities to support their learning.
We also prepare the children for the Church Service, including prayers and the Peace. As part of this we move from The Walker Hall to Church to receive a blessing and show what we have been working on to the congregation.
For special religious celebrations, the children stay for the whole service in Church.
