Supper Groups

The idea of these groups is that church members can meet informally in small groups at peoples’ houses for supper about once a month during the winter months. The groups are put together so that at the beginning each member should know some people in the group but not necessarily all.

Each group has a co-ordinator who is expected to contact each member of their group to invite them to the meals, and arrange who will bring what, and check if anyone has any important food requirements. Co-ordinators are not expected to host every meal (they may simply begin the cycle of meals by hosting the first). It’s up to each group to decide where to meet but it will work well if there is a rotation of venues among homes of members of the group.
