The Curate

Fr Howard Rogers came to Christ Church in 2008, when he was ordained with three others by the Bishop of London at Christ Church. He was ordained priest by the Bishop of Edmonton a year later. Howard is an SSM (self supporting minister) and commutes to the parish from Kentish Town, where he lives. He prepared for ordination at Cuddeson College, Oxford and was an undergraduate at St. Peter's College, Oxford, where he read History.
Howard's first career was in journalsim, working for the BBC. Among programmes which he produced were Today and The World at One. His wife Corinna is an actor (her professional name is Corinna Marlowe) and they have an adult son, Barnaby. As a keen follower of cricket, Howard is glad to have come to a parish which includes a ground where County Cricket is played.
