Director of Music
David is the Director of Music at Christ Church, and the Conductor of the Arcadian Singers of Oxford University. He read Music and was the Organ Scholar at Oriel College, Oxford, and Organist of the Oxford Oratory. Before moving to London he spent a year as Organ Scholar and Acting Sub-Organist of Guildford Cathedral, where he played the organ for services and assisted with the training and conducting of the cathedral choir.
David is currently studying for an MA in choral conducting at the Royal Academy of Music. He has been a guest conductor with the choir of New College, Oxford, and the choir of Brompton Oratory, London, and was selected to take part in the National Youth Choir of Great Britain's Young Conductors Masterclass.
David holds the Associate Diploma of the Royal College of Organists, and has given solo recitals in Bristol, Truro, Lichfield, Bradford and Southwark cathedrals, York Minster, and Hull City Hall.
