Welcome

Drawing of Christ Church

We are an inclusive, liberal catholic Church of England parish.

Do join us on a Sunday morning. You will find us a friendly and welcoming congregation. The principal Sunday service is the Sung Eucharist at 10 a.m. Our modern catholic liturgy is augmented by an excellent choir and exuberant congregational singing.

After the Eucharist, please do stay for refreshments.

In the evening, we have Choral Evensong every week at 6.30 p.m.

We look forward to welcoming you to Christ Church soon and we hope that this web site helps to link you to the life of our parish.

If you are researching family history, note that records for the Weld Chapel (built 1615), demolished when the present Church was built in 1862, and Christ Church pre-1960 are held in the London Metropolitan Archive.
