Welcome to Christ Church Southgate
We are a liberal catholic Church of England parish where all are welcome. We strive to be more inclusive and were the first church in Enfield to register as an Inclusive Church. Please join us for worship, explore our website or email our parish office to receive our weekly parish newsletter. Find out about service times and see our music list here. Find out about forthcoming special events and services here.
SUNDAYS IN AUGUST : Our choir is on a break during August so our Sunday Evening service will be said. The church will be open for visitors every Sunday from 2.30pm until 6.30pm. Come and find out about the history of Southgate through the art and memorials in our church, including the famous Walker family and their cricketing connections. Admire our fine collection of stained glass windows – the largest collection in London by William Morris & Company, with work by Rossetti, Burne Jones, Ford Madox-Brown, Philip Webb and Morris himself. Explore our WW1 Lives Remembered Exhibition. There will be quiet space reserved for prayer and reflection.
SUPPORT US : Please support Christ Church Southgate through regular giving, because what happens here matters. Our ministry to the parish and the maintenance and care of our beautiful church and its important pre-rapahelite stained glass windows relies solely on individual and planned giving. Find out how you can support us or donate today online by clicking on the button opposite.
To all who joined us for our services on Sunday in person and on social media. See more pictures, prayers and readings over on our facebook page, updated daily.
