We are now able to offer funeral services in church again, but subject to the Church of England Covid-19 guidelines. We are limited to a maximum total number of 30 people in the church during the service and the government has stated that only members of the person’s household and close family members can attend. However, close friends can come if there are no family are available. We will take special precautions to ensure social distancing during the service. At the moment we are prohibited from any live singing or the use of wind instruments.
To discuss a service in more detail and how the guidelines will affect you in practice, please contact Fr Chrichton (020 8882 0917; email@example.com).
Anyone living in the parish is entitled to request a funeral at Christ Church. We are keen to offer as much support and assistance as possible at this difficult time.
Please contact the Vicar, Fr Chrichton on 020 8882 0917 in the first instance. If there is no reply, please leave a message and one of the clergy will respond as soon as possible.
Funeral services are usually held on weekdays, Tuesday – Friday, but we do have Eucharist services on Wednesday (11 am) and Thursday (12.30 pm). It is also good to avoid the start and end of the Walker School day, as the road outside the church becomes very busy.
